Sort an array of StarterSpeciesId based on a given criteria and direction.
Parameters
- speciesIds: StarterSpeciesId[]
  An array of species IDs to be sorted
- sort: SortCriteria
  The criteria by which the species hould be sorted
- dir: SortDirection
  The direction in which the species should be sorted
